Hey! I'm Jess.

I'm a wife, Momma of two, and follower of Jesus. I'm a lover of music, the outdoors, and capturing special moments through a lens.

Throughout my school years from junior high (when I got my first digital camera!...and before that I would buy the little disposable Fuji film cameras!...) to college, I was always the friend snapping pictures, getting my friends to pose to "commemorate" the moment. I would do photoshoots of my younger siblings too, dressing them up cute and finding fun locations for the shoots. (Now, years later, my sisters will still model for me, so I guess I didn't bug them too much when we were younger! :) )

I love capturing photos that show you the joy of a family as they hug one another close, the beauty and expectation of a new momma to be, the preciousness of that tiny babe, the silliness of little children as they smile and dance around, and the love and excitement seen in the faces of  a boy  and a girl about to be married.

As I mentioned, I love the outdoors! The PNW, where I have been blessed to call home for several years now, is full of so much natural beauty. From the water to the trees to the mountains...As much as possible, I love to be photographing in the outdoors, with natural light and beautful creation all around!  God's crowning glory in creation was mankind! At the end of the day, people are what really make the world a beautiful place. Hence, my goal is always to strive to photograph my subjects in such a way that  they see the beautiful creations that they truly are!
